Two Igbo Governors Set To Join APC; The Names Will Shock You
Report just coming in, according to THE LEADERSHIP, is that the ranks of the All Progressives Congress APC is about to swell soon. The report give hints that three opposition governors are likely to join the ruling party any moment from now.
The governors fingered in the report are Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state and Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state, both members of the Peoples Democratic Party and Willie Obiano of Anambra state, a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The governors are said to have willing allies in the APC who are reportedly helping them to perfect their defection plans to the ruling party behind the scenes.
While Okowa is said to be assisted by a former governor of his state and Edo state governor; Adams Oshiomhole, Dankwambo is said to be working with two un-named top APC chieftains.
For Obiano, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and Senator Chris Ngige are reportedly his contacts in the APC. Obiano’s decision to decamp to the ruling party is because of the devastating blow his predecessor, Peter Obi’s move to the PDP, had on APGA in Anambra state.
Obi was said to have a firm grip of the party’s structure in the state and his defection practically rendered the party’s structures useless in the state.
A top chieftain of the APC who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the three governors have already concluded their plans to defect and are just waiting for their various election tribunals verdict on their elections.
Dankwambo is said to be eyeing a seat in the senate in 2019 and reportedly knows that his chances are very slim in the PDP because of the popularity of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He is also reportedly being encouraged by powerful APC leaders who are upset with former governor, Senator Danjuma Goje, because of his role in the emergence of Senate president, Bukola Saraki, against the wish of the party leadership.
The governor has allegedly been offered the party machinery if he moves to the APC in order to spite Goje. Though the state executives plans have been kept secret for a while now, sources say it is just a matter of time before they finally come out open with their plans.

Jonathan Fought Corruption In More Civilized Way Than Buhari – Falana
Femi Falana, a famous Lagos lawyer, has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption strategy. The Lagos lawyer while speaking on Channels TV programme said that “contrary to the general belief that former President closed his eyes to corruption, President Goodluck Jonathan did so much in the fight against corruption including the sack of three of his ministers for alleged graft.”
Falana added that Jonathan carried out the most positive loot recovery without making noise about it.
It should be noted that during the Jonathan’s tenure, the administration presented the Single Bank account for the country, saving billions.
Their electronic payroll payment system and the Bio-metric registration of federal personnel recognized 68,000 ghost workers and over 50,000 ghost pensioners.
The previous government also introduced the Single Contract Requisition system with a legislative oversight.
The cashless economy was the cause that “Ghana-Must-Go” vanished in the National Assembly and around the corridors of his government.
