MUST READ: This is why you must never throwaway Eggshells

Calcium is essential for our bodies, as it regulates the function of the muscles and nerves, regulates the heart rate, helps in the formation of bone tissue, prevents osteoporosis and provides a good night's sleep. Calcium also gives a healthy shine to your hair and strengthens immunity.

Sedentary lifestyle, alcohol, soft drinks and coffee drain calcium from the tissues. Women in menopause, pregnant women and older men are the groups that mostly struggle with calcium deficiency. Maintain proper calcium levels for optimal function of your body.

A single eggshell is 90% calcium, and it is an amazing source of minerals. Chemical composition of eggshells is pretty similar to that of our teeth and bones, which is why it is easily absorbed in the body.

Regular consumption of eggshells decreases blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and stimulates bone marrow to produce blood cells.

Eggshells are rich in copper, iron, molybdenum, fluorine, zinc, chromium, phosphorus, and manganese. Experts recommend consuming 1.5-3 grams of crushed eggshells.

Here are a few interesting ideas on how to use eggshells:-

Thyroid gland: Wash and clean 8 eggshells. Crush them once they have completely dried. Pour in the juice of 2 lemons and leave the mixture in the fridge for a few days. The eggshells will soak the liquid and soften. Strain the liquid and add in 2 pounds of honey and a liter of 50% alcohol. Let it rest for a week before using it. Take a tablespoon of the remedy 2-4 times a day after your meals.

Gastritis and ulcer: With the tip of your knife take some of the crushed eggshells and stir them in two tablespoons of lemon juice. That amount is just enough. Once the eggshells soften, pour in a deciliter of hot milk. Consume the mixture twice a day, in the morning before you eat or drink anything and before you go to bed.

Cleanse your blood and strengthen your body: Rinse 5 eggshells and crush them well. Pour in 3 liters of water. Keep the liquid in your fridge for a week and drink it as your regular water. Drink 2-3 cups a day. If you prefer, you can also add some lemon juice to it.
