Yesterday, the Anambra State House of Assembly elected new Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Rita Maduagwu from Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA and the member Representing Nnewi South II in the State House of Assembly. The House also elected Hon. Barr. Hartford Ikechukwu Oseke as the Deputy Speaker. Barr. Oseke is from Umuawulu in Awka South LGA and the member Representing Awka South II in Anambra House of Assembly.
